扬州市梅岭小学始建于公元1947年，由史公的后裔史鉴先生创办。她北邻唐代古塔栖灵塔，西邻风景如画的瘦西湖，南望有“禅宗的四大丛林之一”的高旻寺，东望有唐代古渡茱萸湾。古城扬州特有的历史渊源赋予了其独特的精神内涵。

    Yangzhou Meiling Primary School was founded in 1947 AD by Shijian, the descendants of Mr. Shi Kefa. North of the school is a pagoda called Qiling Pagoda which was built in Tang Dynasty. West of the school is the picturesque Slender West Lake. Looking to the south, there is a temple called Gaomin Temple which is one of the four famous temples of Zen. Looking to the east, there is an old ferry which has been there since Tang Dynasty called Zhuyu Ferry. The historical origins of Yangzhou give the school its unique spiritual connotation.

    60多年来，梅岭小学一直秉承“以人为本，为学生终身发展奠基；重塑文化，为教师享受教育服务”的办学理念，形成了“科研校园、数码校园、艺术校园、人文校园”的办学特色。如今，她已成为一所拥有三个校区的省实验小学。

    Over the 60 years, Meiling Primary School has always been adhering to the educational philosophy: "people-oriented and lay the foundation for the lifelong development of students; reshape culture and provide educational services for teachers," and formed characteristics of “scientific research campus, digital campus, artistic campus, humanities campus". Now, she has become a provincially experimental school with three campuses.
